The collection will feature only "a few hundred" NFTs, drawing inspiration from the iconic Louis Vuitton luggage trunk. Each "Treasure Trunk" NFT will be paired with a custom-made physical Louis Vuitton trunk, typically valued at tens of thousands of dollars. Notably, these NFTs will be soulbound, meaning they cannot be traded or transferred, and only the original owners will gain access to exclusive personalized products, early product releases, and bespoke experiences.


Prospective buyers residing in select countries, including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, Germany, Japan, and Australia, can register on a waitlist starting June 8. From the registered pool, Louis Vuitton will invite a chosen few to purchase the coveted Treasure Trunks on a dedicated platform, using either cryptocurrency or fiat.
